Dutch Flowers

This place has been a favourite of the crawlers for quite some time. It is not one of the most trendy, super flashy shops around; it is toned down, laid back and authentic. Located on the beautiful canal Singel in the Jordaan area, this place is central without being noisy or hectic. Choosing a table by the window gives you the view of a gorgeous Amsterdam canal and bridge. With this as your backdrop, it is somehow extremely satisfying to sit and observe the people walking by on the pavement outside. The interior of the Dutch Flowers is down to earth and pleasant, with hard wood floor, wooden chairs and tables and a good atmosphere.

Fantastic weed at Dutch Flowers
This is the perfect place to come with a book or a news paper, have a joint and a cup of coffee and gaze at the laid back life of the people walking by. Simply relax. The music is soothing and not at all too loud, which is a relief. You could even come here with a laptop and get work done. In addition to the superb location and cozy atmosphere, Dutch Flowers scores high on their goods. We bought a lump of one of our favourite hashes, the Bouhalla III, with a cost of a reasonable € 7,50. This is a bargain for great hash these days. It is smooth and creamy, and it smells so nice! It is a joy to handle and crumble, we are reminded just why and how much we love this little place. We roll it up and enjoy the lovely aroma and flavour. Hooray, excellence!!  Babba has purchased a gram of Hawaiian Haze, and is very eager about the dark green buds, which smells like tropical paradise. Smoking it is even better. We sit with comfortably fuzzy minds and enjoy the moment, overhearing whiny laugh attacks from the group of teenagers on the other table, soaking in the sensory inputs and our minds wonder. This is such a nice place to spend an afternoon. In the summer they put out tables, and you can sit in the sun and enjoy the scenery and the smell of spring in the city. Dutch Flowers is top notch if what you are looking for is a laid-back place to smoke good, affordable dope in a relaxed and cozy setting. While in the neighbourhood, you might wanna check out the 2de Kamer coffeeshop just around the corner; the Dampkring is not far away either. If you get the munchies, have a wonder around the Jordaan area to grab a sandwich in one of the dozen cafĂ©es and sandwich shops around the area, many of which are organic. There is also a chocolaterie nearby.

Dutch Flowers has an excellent location on the Singel
